New Mexico State University’s Undergraduate Admissions and the Hispanic Scholarship Fund will host a free virtual HSF College 101 workshop from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20. The three-hour workshop will be held on Zoom to help middle and high school students and their families learn more about how to prepare for college.
The virtual event is free, but registration is required at https://www.hsf.net/2025-college101-CT. The deadline to register is 5 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18.
“This is an excellent opportunity for all middle and high school students, along with their families, to receive information related to the college preparation and admissions process,” Associate Vice President for Student Affairs Tony Marin said.
HSF College 101 identifies and addresses the various steps necessary to plan for a college education. Sessions are focused on topics such as preparing for and applying to college, paying for college, applying for scholarships and researching financial aid opportunities. The program is offered in English and Spanish.
