New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center and the Office of the Vice President for Research and Graduate Studies are accepting nominations for the 2022 NMSU Entrepreneur Hall of Fame, which recognizes outstanding achievement in entrepreneurship among alumni representing colleges and disciplines across the NMSU system.
Nominations close Oct. 31. To nominate candidates, visit https://arrowheadcenter.org/entrepreneur-hall-of-fame/.
The NMSU Entrepreneur Hall of Fame honors NMSU graduates who have demonstrated success in business creation and growth, brought entrepreneurial concepts and practices into their workplaces, and/or contributed to their regions’ entrepreneurial climates. Nominations representing all fields, sectors and disciplines are encouraged.
The 2021 Hall of Fame inductee, Richard Leza, was selected due to his 40-plus years of achievement in finance, consulting, manufacturing, engineering, medical devices and application software. Leza, a first-generation college graduate, also co-founded a nonprofit dedicated to creating a network of successful Hispanic entrepreneurs and to providing opportunities for Hispanics in high-tech environments.
Past hall of fame honorees include Dino Cervantes and Frank Seidel.
