New Mexico State University students and education professionals will have the chance to connect with school districts and education organizations during the upcoming Educators’ Job Fair, hosted by Aggie Career Studio Tuesday, April 21. The event will take place from 1 to 6 p.m. in Corbett Center Student Union.
The fair will bring together hiring representatives from school districts, charter schools and education-focused organizations looking to fill teaching positions and other school-based roles. Opportunities may include full-time teaching positions, internships, substitute teaching and additional roles that support student success across K-12 schools.
The Educators’ Job Fair is designed for individuals pursuing careers in education at all stages. The event welcomes new graduates, experienced teachers, administrators, principals, school counselors, nurses and social workers, as well as students interested in entering the field through alternative licensure pathways.
Attendees will have the opportunity to speak directly with hiring teams, learn about district needs and gain insight into the qualifications and experiences schools are seeking in candidates. For many participants, the event serves as an early step in the hiring process while also providing valuable networking opportunities within the education community.
Students are encouraged to review the list of participating employers in Handshake prior to the event and sign up for any related employer sessions. Handshake can be accessed through careerstudio.nmsu.edu or through a My.NMSU.edu account, where additional career preparation resources are available.
Professional attire is recommended, and participants should bring multiple copies of their résumé when meeting with recruiters. Aggie Career Studio also offers résumé reviews, interview preparation and other career-readiness services to help students prepare for events.
