Career exploration and hiring opportunities will take the spotlight at New Mexico State University Wednesday, March 4, as Aggie Career Studio hosts the Employment Extravaganza Career Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the first floor of Corbett Center Student Union.
The annual event transforms the Corbett Center into a hub of professional networking, giving students and alumni direct access to recruiters seeking candidates for internships, co-ops, seasonal roles and full-time careers. Organizations from diverse industries across New Mexico and beyond will be on site to meet with Aggies from every academic discipline.
More than a job fair, Employment Extravaganza serves as a launch point for students preparing to enter the workforce. Participants can learn about industry expectations, build professional connections and gain insight into career paths aligned with their majors and interests. All classification levels, from first-year students to recent graduates, are encouraged to attend.
In advance of the event, students should log into Handshake to review the latest list of participating employers and register for related employer-hosted sessions offered both in person and virtually. Handshake is available through careerstudio.nmsu.edu or via a my.NMSU account, where additional career preparation resources are also available.
Professional dress is recommended, and attendees should bring multiple copies of their résumé. Aggie Career Studio offers résumé reviews, interview coaching and career-readiness guidance to help students feel confident and prepared.
