WHAT: A panel discussion hosted by New Mexico State University’s Art Museum about how New Mexico’s legislative process works, how ideas become laws and how civic engagement can drive meaningful change.

WHO: The public is invited for the talk centered on the processes that shape state-level policy and reform. Panelists include Caia Ortiz, NMSU ASNMSU chief of staff, Micaela Lara Cadena, New Mexico Legislature District 33 Representative, and Clayton Abbey, assistant vice president of NMSU’s Department of Government and Community Relations.
