The New Mexico State University Board of Regents will convene Monday, Oct. 17, on the Las Cruces campus for a closed meeting and later a special meeting.
The regents will hold a closed meeting at 8 a.m. in Hadley Hall, Room 130. The closed meeting is being called to discuss the incentive compensation and evaluation for NMSU Chancellor Dan Arvizu as permitted under the personnel matters exemption the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, NMSA Section 10-15-1, subsection (H)(2). The existing chancellor agreement forms the basis for that compensation and evaluation discussion in the closed meeting.
The regents will then meet for a special meeting at 1 p.m. in the Regents Room of the Educational Services Building. The meeting will also be livestreamed for public viewing at https://nmsu.zoom.us/j/93914730638.
In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, copies of the agenda will be made available at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and accessible at https://regents.nmsu.edu/regent-meetings/.
