NMSU Board of Regents to meet with DACC Advisory Board, hold closed meeting

The New Mexico State University Board of Regents will hold a meeting with the Doña Ana Community College Advisory Board at 10:30 a.m. Dec. 11 at DACC’s Cholla Hall, 2400 Film St. on NMSU’s Arrowhead Park.

Following the meeting, members of the two boards may attend a lunch hosted by DACC (by invitation only). No votes or other official actions will be taken by the Board of Regents.

In compliance with the Open Meetings Act, copies of the agenda will be made available at least 72 hours prior to the meeting and accessible at https://regents.nmsu.edu/regent-meetings/.

Individuals with a disability who may need a reader, amplifier, qualified sign language interpreter or any other form of auxiliary aid or service to attend or participate in the meeting should contact the Board of Regents Office at 575-646-5997 at least three days prior to the meeting, or as soon as possible. Public documents, including the agenda and minutes, may also be provided in various accessible formats. Contact the Board of Regents Office if a summary or other type of accessible format is needed.

The NMSU Board of Regents will then convene for a closed meeting at 8 a.m. Dec. 12 in NMSU’s Hadley Hall, Room 130. The closed meeting is being called to complete an interim performance assessment of NMSU’s president under his contract, and discussion of personnel matters related to individual NMSU employees as permitted under the personnel matters exemption of the New Mexico Open Meetings Act, NMSA Section 10-15-1, subsection (H)(2).
