New Mexico State University will host the annual Homecoming Parade at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. The parade will begin at the Pan American Center, 1810 E. University Ave. and travel west on University Avenue.
The parade will cause a temporary road closure of University Avenue and intersections that meet University Avenue between Triviz Drive and El Paseo Road starting at 9 a.m. The parade can be viewed along University Avenue between Triviz Drive and Espina Street. There are no designated areas for parking, but those who wish to watch the parade can access University Avenue through intersecting streets.
The NMSU football game against Middle Tennessee State University will begin at 4 p.m. at Aggie Memorial Stadium, but there will be more events following the parade and leading up to the game.
The College of Agricultural, Consumer, and Environmental Sciences and the New Mexico Department of Agriculture will host its 10th annual AG Day from 1 to 4 p.m. north of the stadium. Also, the Homecoming Tailgate with Alumni and Friends will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. in the parking lot between the stadium and Pan Am Canter.
