The New Mexico State University Office of Experiential Learning will host the 11th annual Health Professions Fair from 2 to 5 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 5, on the first floor of Corbett Center Student Union. The event highlights opportunities in one of the nation’s fastest-growing industries, health care.
The Health Professions Fair connects students, alumni and community members with representatives from a variety of health care organizations seeking to hire qualified candidates for careers in health-related fields. Employers will engage with Aggies majoring in disciplines across multiple colleges, including biology, human nutrition and dietetic science, family and consumer sciences, counseling and educational psychology, kinesiology, special education, communication disorders, nursing, public health sciences and social work among others.
Participants can view the most up-to-date list of employers in Handshake, accessible via the Office of Experiential Learning website at oel.nmsu.edu or directly at nmsu.joinhandshake.com. Pre-registration is not required. Attendees are encouraged to research potential employers, dress professionally and bring an updated résumé.
