The Passport Acceptance Facility at New Mexico State University has reopened to the public with expanded hours.
The office is located in Room 8 of the Educational Services Building, 1780 E. University Ave., and is open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The Passport Acceptance Facility is open to the public and offers first-time passport applications, passport photos, photos and assistance with passport renewals, and photos for OPT and Visa applications.
Kari Cena, passport acceptance facility manager, said the office is currently scheduling customers by appointment only. In accordance with both state and NMSU guidelines, masks must be work at all times.
“We are happy to be reopen to both the NMSU and larger Las Cruces community,” Cena said.
