The Scale Up NM program, funded in part by the United States Economic Development Administration and housed at New Mexico State University’s Arrowhead Center, will be hosting the 2023 Scale Up NM Pitch Competition for technology startups in New Mexico.
The Pitch Competition is one component within Scale Up NM, a comprehensive set of startup support initiatives designed to assist businesses involved in early-stage development of technology. This program extends and enhances existing Arrowhead Center endeavors, including sprint business accelerators, Small Business Innovation Research/Small Business Technology Transfer support and commercialization assistance.
“This premier event is set to captivate the entrepreneurial community, offering a unique platform for emerging startups to showcase their groundbreaking ideas, secure valuable mentorship, and vie for cash prizes,” said Dana Catron, deputy director of Arrowhead Center.
Scheduled to take place Oct. 26 at Electric Playhouse in Albuquerque, the 2023 Scale Up NM Pitch Competition is a can't-miss opportunity for both aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders in the tech sector. This event promises to be a nexus of innovation, bringing together industry leaders, investors and visionaries to celebrate entrepreneurship and foster groundbreaking ideas.

A panel of distinguished judges, including experienced investors and venture capitalists from the Southwest region, will evaluate each pitch, offer constructive feedback and select the winners. Attendees will have the chance to connect with industry experts, potential investors and like-minded entrepreneurs during the event.
