New Mexico State University’s Office of Experiential Learning will host the 20th annual Employment Extravaganza Career Fair March 19. The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Corbett Center Student Union, third floor, on NMSU’s Las Cruces campus.
Employers still addressing staffing needs in cooperative education and internships, summer or temporary employment and professional employment are cordially invited to attend and can register via Handshake.
This year’s Employment Extravaganza event provides NMSU students the opportunity to connect with potential local and regional employers and discuss their available positions. Some of the employers scheduled to attend this year’s Employment Extravaganza include Vaxcom Services, LLC, City of Las Cruces Fire Department, Naval Surface Warfare Center-Port Hueneme Division, Indian Health Service-Nursing among others.
This event is open to all current NMSU students and alumni as well as the general public. Candidates are encouraged to view the event on Handshake for the most current list of employers attending the fair. Handshake is accessible on the OEL website at oel.nmsu.edu.
It is recommended that students research potential employers in advance and dress professionally. Resumes should be up-to-date and ready to distribute during the fair.
