The New Mexico State University Office of Experiential Learning will welcome students, alumni and community members to the 41st annual Career Expo Fair and Engineering, Science and Technology Fair from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16 and Wednesday, Sept. 17. The fair will be held at Corbett Center Student Union, third floor.

Career Expo is the largest fall fair kicking off the employer recruitment season. Career Expo is a recognized NMSU tradition as one of the premier career fairs NMSU offers. With more than 120 employers in attendance, students will have the opportunity to engage with employers from across the United States seeking to recruit graduates for full-time employment as well as recruit for their co-op/internship opportunities. Employers are eager to meet with NMSU students as they arrive on campus.

“We have made great efforts to ensure this fair is inclusive of employers who are seeking to hire all majors across all our outstanding colleges and disciplines,” said Patricia Leyba, NMSU Office of Experiential Learning director.

The fair is open to all majors on both days of the event; however, the Engineering, Science and Technology Fair will take place Sept. 17 and is focused on STEM-related employers, as part of the Career Expo. All majors are invited to attend both days.

In addition to Career Expo, NMSU’s Office of Experiential Learning will host other events that will help students prepare for the upcoming fair. On Wednesday, Sept. 10, the Student Panel: Career Fair 101 will be held at 3 p.m. in Corbett Center’s Aggie Lounge followed by the Dress to Impress Fashion Show: Career Edition at 4 p.m. All students are encouraged to attend the fun and informative afternoon.
